Where Will The New Bachelorette Take All Her Beaus This Season?

By , May 27th, 2014

ABC network’s hit reality TV show The Bachelorette premiered last week and millions of Americans were glued to their TV screens to catch a first glimpse of the dashing — and not so dashing — bachelors who will fight for new Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman’s heart. The Bachelorette is known for its beautiful protagonists, its drama-filled storyline, and the amazing destinations that contestants have as a backdrop to their publicized quest for love. Where will Andi drag her men this season? Your guess is as good as ours, but here are some likely spots that have been floating around conversations.

She’ll Get All Cliché in France

Could ABC producers be any more cliché with this one? While we agree that France is très romantique, it doesn’t really gain originality points. Speculation points to Marseilles as one of the French cities Andi and her boys will visit. Andi could treat them to a day at Longchamp Palace, which houses both the Fine Arts Museum and the Natural History Museum. The palace’s splendid gardens and waterfalls make quite a romantic setting for a first kiss.

She’ll Binge on Chocolates in Belgium

For all of you who stayed tuned after the premiere, a preview for this season’s upcoming highlights on “The Bachelorette” made a quick mention on how beautiful Belgium is. So it’s confirmed that Andi will have a chance to overindulge in fine chocolates and test her suitors’ language skills – French, Dutch and/or German! We’re guessing capital city Brussels is the pit stop for this leg of the journey. The new bachelorette could take one of her lucky suitors to the famous Gothic-style town hall or to one of the most beautiful medieval squares in Europe, the ornate Grand’ Place.

She’ll Practice a Carb-only Diet in Italy

Since this is Andi’s first trip to Europe, it seems ABC producers were afraid to leave out a classic American tourist destination — Italy. Let’s see how many extra pounds the contestants pack on while devouring Italy’s fine pizza, pasta and tiramisu. Last season’s bachelorette, Desiree Hartsock, took her suitors to Madeira, Portugal where she treated them to strolls through lush tropical gardens, tobogganing down the town’s steep winding streets and a performance by a fado singer. What will Andi have in store for her men as they travel through Italy? We’re thinking romantic gondola rides in Venice or street markets in Florence.

She’ll Make Us All Jealous on the Beaches in the Dominican Republic

While not officially confirmed, the season 10 finale of The Bachelorette could dramatically unfold on the beautiful beaches of the Dominican Republic. We’ll see if it tops last season’s finale in Antigua at the ultra-luxurious St. James Club hotel, or even Emily Maynard’s season, where she picked her prince charming on the Caribbean island of Curacao at the Sandton Kura Hulanda Lodge and Beach Club. Former bachelorettes have shed a great many tears during their quests for love, but when you have gorgeous beachfront views from hotels like the Verandah Resort in the Caribbean, it’s impossible to feel any true sympathy for these ladies.
